While I generally sing the praises of online dating, I have to admit it's a very weird place. I really like the fact that you can put your needs/wants out there from the get-go, in a way that you just can't in conversation. Plus, there's someone out there for everybody, so I find people are generally honest. But you take the good with the bad, and by bad, I mean disturbing.
I recently got a notification from XYZ dating site that someone wanted to meet me. I click on this profile and everything is about balloons. Pictures of balloons. Various sections of info all reference balloons. I have seen some weird shit. But this is the weirdest shit I've seen on this site. I'm not judging, but aren't there specific places for people that have such unique and specific, um, desires?
